"The brewery has already reduced energy consumption by >15% as a result of CNE’s input, and there are a number of other initiatives in process supported by TEVI and ATI. The project has enabled a continued culture change at the brewery with reduced water and gas usage, and associated effluent discharge." What are we offering?

The Cornwall New Energy project team supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the following sectors and groups to develop energy-related products, services and solutions.

Tourism and Leisure

We are supporting local enterprises which operate and manage hotels, holiday parks, B&B’s, holiday cottages and leisure attractions, as well as suppliers of consumables, services and products to the tourism and leisure sector, to use energy more smartly and to benefit from energy generation and storage.

Developers / Construction

We are engaging with the local industry to promote energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption and increase renewable energy generation in the entire construction supply and delivery chain.

Technology/Product/Service Innovators

We are helping innovators and entrepreneurs to develop, test, demonstrate and commercialise their new ideas in the fast growing energy and environmental market sectors. Whether you need support to develop an early stage idea, find early customers and projects to enable tests and demonstrations or just accelerate your market/commercial development, our project team can help.

Start-up businesses

We can provide you with specialist, tailored support as a start-up entering the low carbon and environmental sectors, helping you find customers, develop markets and test and demonstrate new products and services.

Heavy energy users

If you are a heavy energy user looking to cut energy costs, reduce risk and turn your energy use from a cost to a competitive advantage, we can help you develop and implement a complete energy strategy to reduce your energy consumption as well as generate, store, use and trade energy.

Supply Chain

If you are an existing supplier, or planning to be, of low carbon/environmental products and services, we can help you with finding and bidding for local projects; finding and demonstrating new products and services; securing Supply Chain Accreditation and developing Environmental Management Plans to help you access new markets.

Community groups

For community groups, we can work with you to identify new renewable energy projects and bring in expert support to help you progress existing projects.

Who are we?

PRP is a long-established design and construction consultancy practice that offers energy and carbon-related advisory services within its wider portfolio of services. Our experts have much experience of working with different organisations and enterprises to provide support in relation to energy reduction, supply, generation and storage to reduce energy use, operating costs and carbon footprints, as well as to potentially generate revenue.
