CNE takes to the air to attend event with Smart Islands Partnership on the Isles of Scilly
Today, CNE's Amanda Forman attended a panel discussion with Smart Islands Partnership as part of Scilly Business Week. Smart Islands Partnership has begun to make significant strides towards delivering a sustainable future for Scilly, as well as communities beyond, through industry-leading solutions for energy, waste and water.
The panel discussion, led by Jonathan Adey from Hitachi's Digital Solutions Group, explored the relationship between the local economy and wider Smart Islands initiatives, and examined opportunities for businesses on Scilly to modernise, innovate and contribute to a more dynamic outlook for the islands.
The panel comprised David Jackson (Islands’ Partnership), Jim Wrigley (IOS Community Venture), Nicola Stinson (Council of the Isles of Scilly), Luke Humphries (Duchy Of Cornwall), Cllr Jonathan Smith (CIOS), Diana Mompoloki (Tresco Island) and Sarah Mason (Isles of Scilly Wildlife trust)
